Position Overview
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, creative individual for our Market Research Analyst position. This position will be based in Herndon, VA near Washington D.C. In this role, you will be a part of the Client Success team and will have an opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of market research such as new methodologies, project management, implementation, client relationship building, storytelling, and more. This position also offers the right candidate an accelerated career in market research and technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and verify data quality.
- Assist with screener and research design.
- Communicate with project lead on project status, timelines, follow-ups, etc.
- Interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
- Manage research projects, within timeline and budgets.
- Work with senior management in preparing reports and presentations.
- Present data and results to internal stakeholders

The Role
Unlike a traditional sales organization, Nailbiter’s Client Growth team focuses primarily on expanding relationships with existing clients. More than 90% of our revenue comes from repeat business, making long-term partnerships the foundation of our success.
Reporting directly to Co-Founder Amit Dhand, you’ll own a portfolio of CPG accounts, working closely with Consumer and Shopper Insights teams to introduce innovative research approaches, identify growth opportunities, and deliver measurable business value.
What You’ll Do
- Build and grow long-term relationships with existing client accounts.
- Identify opportunities to expand partnerships and increase revenue.
- Develop proposals and research approaches aligned with client objectives.
- Work directly with Consumer Insights and Shopper Insights teams to understand business objectives, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver innovative research solutions that drive decision-making.
- Manage contract renewals, procurement, and MSA processes.
- Serve as the primary client advocate, collaborating internally to improve products and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
- Represent Nailbiter with senior client stakeholders and industry partners.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of professional experience, including experience in quantitative market research and client relationship management.
- Experience working with CPG clients is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.

- Understand client business objectives and recommend Nailbiter solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Develop proposals, research approaches, and scopes of work aligned to client needs.

- Partner with internal Client Consulting, Operations, and Product teams to ensure exceptional project delivery.

Qualifications
- 6–8 years of professional experience with at least:
- 3+ years in quantitative market research, consumer insights, or related consulting.
- 4+ years managing and growing client relationships, preferably within CPG.
- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling and account management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM/business development tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Social Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
